Public Servant Project
A national hub for generating, sharing, and translating data and evidence about the people of government.
The solutions to many of the world's biggest social challenges depend on a well-functioning public sector—which, in turn, depends on the people who make government work.
More than 22 million public servants are employed across federal, state, and local governments in the United States, delivering essential services from disaster response to trash collection. The Public Servant Project seeks to build systematic, high-quality evidence on the experiences of, challenges facing, and strategies to support public servants across the country. This initiative was created by The People Lab and is based at the Harvard Kennedy School.
